How to Apply Santoor Scholarship 2024 – ONLINE APPLICATION
The Santoor Scholarship program is an initiative of Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares. The program intends to financially support girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, who wish to pursue higher education after grade 12. Launched in 2016-17, the program offers support to 1500 students every year, across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh.
Table of Contents
It is a recurring annual program and the selected students are supported for the duration of their higher education. The support covers tuition fees and incidental expenses.
Over the last eight years, close to 8000 students have received support through the Santoor Scholarship Program.
Besides students inclined towards professional courses, those showing a keen interest in pursuing their higher education in the fields of humanities, liberal arts and sciences are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference is given to students from backward districts.
Santoor Scholarship Program 2024 Overview
The programme will offer scholarship support to 1,500 women students in 2024-25 across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, and Chhattisgarh. Each selected student will receive an amount of of INR 24,000 per annum until the completion of their degree programme.
Priority funding is offered to students hailing from aspirational (backward) districts of these states.
Santoor Scholarship Program 2024 Eligibility :
- Passed class 10 from a local government school.
- Passed class 12 from a government school/junior college in the academic year 2023-24.
- Enrolled in a full-time graduate program beginning from 2024-25.
Santoor Scholarship Program 2024 Scholarship Amount :
The students would be given Rs. 24,000 per annum till they complete their course of study. Students are permitted to utilize the scholarship for tuition fees or other expenses incidental to education.

Santoors Women Scholarship 2024 Eligibility
To Apply for the Wipro’s Santoor Scholarship 2023 the candidates/ students should meet the eligibility criteria prescribed below.
- Open only for young women from underprivileged backgrounds from the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana or Chhattisgarh
- Have passed Class 10 from a local government school

Santoor Women’s Scholarships 2024 Terms and Conditions
The applicant is required to read the following terms and conditions in its entirety. The candidate on submitting the application is deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions herein. Yes, if the students have taken a gap year, they can apply for the scholarship. They must have enrolled in a graduate program in the year 2024-25.
No, only those students who have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from government schools may apply for this scholarship.
No, only students who have enrolled for the 1st year of full-time graduate programmes at any recognized educational institution are eligible to apply for this scholarship.How will the selected scholars receive the scholarship award for Santoor Women’s Scholarship?
- Selected scholars will receive the scholarship amount as direct benefit transfer to their bank account.

Please read the following instructions before filling the application form:
1. Enter all the details in BLOCK letters using a ball point/gel pen and complete all the sections in full.
2. Applicants are required to submit the application form with the following enclosed:
- Affix one passport size photograph in the space provided on the application form.
- Only student’s bank pass book details will be accepted. Grameen bank passbooks will not be considered.
- Photocopy of the student’s College/Government approved ID

3. Application window:
Applications will be available from 1st September 2023. The last date to apply is 30th September 2023. Students are encouraged to apply by the earliest possible date.
