Qualifications for Teachers MLC Elections:-
From 1.10.2020 to 6.11.2020, eligible teachers and faculty are required to submit their applications in Form-19 to the Zonal Tahsildar or Municipal Office where the Assembly votes, in order to become voters. Can also be submitted online through the CEO Andhra website. Teachers, faculty, and professors who have completed at least 3 years of service (working at the secondary level and above at government recognized educational institutions) in the last 6 years before 1.11.2020 are eligible to register as a voter.
i.e. High Schools under Government, Zilla Parishad, Aided, Municipal, Social Welfare, Tribal welfare, Gurukalam, Model, KGB, unaided managements who have completed 3 years of continuous service (either in a single educational institution or in separate educational institutions) as on 1..11.2020 Faculty members (excluding cadre) working in Junior, Degree, Polytechnic, University Tea, B.Ed Colleges, DIET, Medical, Engineering Colleges are all eligible to register as voters. Those who have the right to vote in the Assembly while working in other districts may also register to vote in these 4 districts.

Form19 should include photo name, father’s name, door number, address, voter card number, voter serial number, cell number, service certificate from the head of the school, etc.
If the application is uploaded and sent online in Form 19, photo, service certificate.
Teachers working in Unaided should certify the service certificate along with their EPF No at the district / zonal level of the concerned department. Those unfamiliar with Assembly Voter Serial No. can send an SMS to 1950 with ECI EPIC CARD NO> to get Assembly vote details.
These details must be entered correctly.
Voter card and service certificate should be attached with Form19
Completed applications will not be accepted at the Electoral Registration Offices.
Note: A teacher can only submit applications from himself and his family members. However, the Head of School / HM / Principal can send the voting applications (Form 19s) covering letter to all the teachers working with them to the concerned ERO.
