Admission process:
Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti NVS, An Autonomous Organisation Vidyalayas are functioning under Dept. of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India and functioning in Various Districts. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti to be notified for admission process for admission to Intermediate in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas through an entrance examination namely -Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test JNVST-2021 for the session 2021-20. Registration of students would be started through online mode only from this year 2019. Last date to apply for JNVST 2021: 30-09-2019. “Last date for submission of JNVST-2021 Intermediate admission application 30.09.2019”.
Eligibility Criteria for Intermediate:
- Applicant or student must be studying 10th standard in 2020-21 Academic year. They are to be Indian nationality only and must be from recognized government schools only.As per the MOU with Navodaya Samiti, Common Service Centre will be charging Rs 35/-(Rupees thirty-five only) to be paid by the parent/ candidate towards service charge to upload the application form per candidate.
- Candidate must be born in between 1st May 2005 to 30 April 2009. Age limit is 13 years maximum.
Steps To Apply for Intermediate:
- The process for applying for Navodaya Intermediate Selection Test has been simplified through the online process. Detailed and intensive verification of proofs for residence, age, eligibility, etc will be done for successful candidates through the laid down procedure.
- The eligible Intermediate candidates along with his /her parent/guardians may approach Common Service Centre along with duly filled in certificate from the Head Master of the school where the candidate is studying in Class X. The format of certificate may be downloaded from Samiti website www.nvshq.org The sample of format is enclosed.
- In case of candidates from NIOS, candidates should obtain `B’ certificate and residence should be in the same district where he/she is seeking admission.
The application for Navodaya Intermediate Selection Test 2021 is being processed through Common Service Centre of Ministry of IT, Govt. of India. Common Service Centre has a wider range of with2.6 lac centres across the country virtually covering every village.
